Honey Bajaj is a leader in innovator and design strategist. She is a social entrepreneur with extensive work in India and the United States. A decade of Honey’s work has demonstrated the leadership and talent to develop and deliver outstanding products, including co-inventing Embrace a low-cost baby warmer and led development through design, manufacturing, and up to market release. The product has since impacted and saved the lives of over 250,000 babies across 20+ developing countries. It was also a recipient of The Economist Innovation Award, Schwab Social Enterprise of the Year, and the INDEX: Design to Improve Life Award.
In the past, she has worked with organizations like Microsoft Research, MIT Media Lab, etc. She has always focused on designing for impact, especially among the largest, poorest segment of the world’s population. She has also led multiple workshops for corporates and schools on design thinking and innovation methodologies. Honey has a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the MITIDM Program. Currently, she is the Lead- Special Projects at the Managing Trustee’s Office at Tata Trusts designing service based tech platforms for data-driven governance for Government Of Maharashtra, India in the field of Agriculture & Healthcare.
